Ideal for code and data storage, Forté™ N25Q  is the industry’s first 65nm lithography multiple I/O serial flash family. It provides the most advanced performance available in the market, offers a quadruplicated read bandwidth to an equivalent clock speed of 432MHz, and dramatically increases XiP performances.

Forté N25Q is the first serial flash family in the market to offer flexible device configurability, also extended to XiP mode, stored on a non-volatile register to allow the memory configuration to be permanently kept after power-on cycle. The family is backward compatibility with the Forté™ M25P and M25PX product families, ensuring architectural scalability. Multiple packages are offered over the entire range: MLP8 (6x8mm); SO16 300 mils width; and BGA24 (6x8mm).
 
The N25Q is ideal for applications such as PC and Peripherals (Desktops, Notebooks, ODDs, Printers, LCDs), Consumer Electronics (STB, DTV, Cable Modem), and Communications  (Wimax, Bluetooth). The Forté N25Q additionally offers Write (program/erase) protection features to prevent sensitive data from unintended modifications.
